Network Alarmer Giveaway
Vovsoft Network Alarmer is a lightweight software created to offer you the ability of verifying availability of various network devices by checking their IP addresses and warning you through automatic phone calls or email messages, when something goes off course.
You can add various IP addresses to the "PING Hostname List" and the utility will verify whether or not they are online, informing you of the result with a timestamped notice in the lower part of the window.
In addition to ping check, the program is also able to check the state of air conditioning machines through user-defined IP, supporting multiple devices at once. You can even set a maximum temperature level which the application should send you a phone call (requires 56K modem) or an instant message (requires alarm script URL). More Info

Reply Not all devices respond to ICMP PING command on our LANs other UP tests need to be included like connecting to an OPEN TCP or UDP port... or other method... I have one IP that is discovered but always fails PING requests... logically if it's discovered it's there? no?
Why can I not disable logging of each round of pings to a text file without hacking the program?

Thank you for your valuable feedback.
You are correct, some devices may ignore ICMP ping requests for security reasons.
Regarding logging: currently, ping results are logged by design and there is no option to disable it. We understand your concern and will evaluate adding a setting to control or disable log file creation in an upcoming update.
We appreciate your suggestions, they help us improve the software.
