Create a thumbnail handler that can extract the first page of a PDF file and provide it as a thumbnail image for Windows Explorer. Create a COM object that implements the IThumbnailProvider interface. This interface is responsible for generating thumbnails. Register the COM object in the Windows Registry so that Windows Explorer knows to use it for .pdf files.
